High Park Toronto – Engagement Photography – Adam & Amanda

We started Adam and Amanda’s engagement session with a light picnic at High Park in Toronto. They brought cheese and crackers and played a game of cards while enjoying a nice glass of wine. Since this was the first time we had met, the picnic themed engagement session was a really great ice-breaker. It didn’t take long for these two to get comfortable in front of the camera. Both Adam and Amanda are pretty laid-back, and Amanda’s bubbly personality shines in all of the pictures. We enjoyed spending the afternoon with them and we look forward to being their wedding photographers next summer.

After the picnic, we decided to explore more of what High Park has to offer. One of the best spots that we found was a remote area with tall grass and beautiful flowers. That scenery made a really nice backdrop, and it gave these engagement pictures such a romantic feeling.

As wedding and engagement photographers, we feel very blessed to be able to meet so many nice folks and get to travel and photograph at many different locations around Toronto and internationally.

The Spoke Club in Toronto – Engagement Party – Simran & Chris

Located on King Street West in downtown Toronto, The Spoke Club is a trendy, private members club with an upscale lounge atmosphere. It was the perfect place for Simran and Chris to gather with friends and family to celebrate their engagement. Living in Germany, and only staying in Canada for a week, they managed to plan this event impeccably right down to every little detail.

Cherry Beach Engagement Session Toronto – Lisa & Andrew

Lisa and Andrew are the cutest couple, and undeniably in love! They also love their very photogenic dog Java, and they decided to have her come along for their engagement session.

They spend a lot of time at Cherry beach with Java, so we thought it would be the perfect place to start our shoot before we hit the streets of downtown Toronto!

Andrew brought his totally customized (and pretty sweet) bike for some of the engagement pictures. We’re so glad he did! The pictures turned out great, and the awesome graffiti wall he selected definitely added that extra punch to these photos.

Toronto Centre Island Engagement Pictures – Eugene and Gloria

We got to spend a fun-filled afternoon at the Toronto Island with Eugene and Gloria. We started the day at Centreville and then later we explored other areas of Centre Island.

These two are just adorable and really easy going – and certainly up for having some fun! It was great photographing them and capturing their playful personalities. There are so many great pictures and we had a difficult time selecting only a few to share with you. Here’s a little sneak peek of their engagement photography session.

Toronto Family Pictures at Cherry Beach with Laura and Albert

It was such a wonderful experience capturing special memories for Laura and her 4 year old son. The weather was nice and it was the perfect day for shooting family pictures at Cherry Beach in Toronto. At first, Albert was very shy in front of the camera, but in no time at all, he became very comfortable and we ended up having a blast!

Laura is such a strong woman and wonderful mother. It is very apparent how much she loves her little guy and this love really reflects in our photographs.

We decided to take a short break before catching a few more shots as the sun was setting.

People hire us from all over the GTA to be their family photographer and we are so grateful that we can bring them joy by creating images that they will treasure for a lifetime and generations beyond.

Mary I absolutely love to see the innocence of a child captured through photography. It’s just so beautiful. Well done guys.

Sheri Soooo Cute!!!

Dave and Esther – Toronto Engagement Pictures at the CNE

On Sunday August 21st, we spent an awesome day with Dave and Esther at the CNE shooting their engagement pictures. We started our day in Liberty Village, shot some photos in the area before making our way to The Ex. On our way, it started to rain BAD. While we waited for it to stop pouring, we took the opportunity to take some pictures in the rain. Once we got to the CNE, we let loose and had a blast. Dave and Esther are such a great couple, we had so much fun with them and we can’t wait to shoot their big day next year. 🙂

Railway Overpass Bridge Demolition over Highway 401 – East of Albert Street in Oshawa

On Saturday night, shortly after leaving from a quiet evening out in Oshawa around 12 am, we were driving down Simcoe Street and noticed a crowd that had gathered on the Albert Street Bridge just above the highway 401. We were curious, so we turned around to see what could have gotten all these people to come out in the middle of the night.

When we got closer, we felt like we were watching clips from the movie ‘War of the Worlds’. There were bright lights, monster machines, loud noise and large amounts of debris falling through the rays of light. It was quite something! They were tearing down the railway overpass just East of Albert street that closed in 2001 and has been abandoned since.

I had my Canon 5D Mark ll with me, and right away I saw the photo opportunities I had in front of my eyes. I did not hesitate for a second and just started shooting. 🙂

Take a look at how awesome these photos turned out!

Rob Wow! These pictures look wicked!
