It’s super hard to keep up with blogging, especially since we try to tell the story with our posts, rather than posting those 3 winning shots that would make you go “wow”. We want that exact same reaction from you when you see all of our images! We put a lot of effort and time into everything we do – which is kind of a ‘fortunate curse’ of being an artist and perfectionist.
Eugene and Gloria’s Toronto wedding consisted of two parts. The first part was the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, which represents the couple’s gratitude towards their elders on their wedding day. Drinking tea on the wedding day also symbolizes the joining of two families. It’s a beautiful and joyous celebration in the Chinese Culture.
After the Tea Ceremony, Gloria changed into her gorgeous wedding gown and we headed out to Yonge Street around Mel Lastman Square to take a few shots before the wedding ceremony. We had so much fun with this couple! Gloria and Eugene really do complement each other in every way. They ARE like two peas in a pod. It was a real joy photographing them once again – we did their engagement session at Centre Island last summer, and you can see some of those engagement pictures HERE.
Gloria and Eugene chose the Auberge du Pommier French restaurant in Toronto for their wedding ceremony and reception venue. This exquisite 1860’s woodcutter’s cottage inspired restaurant offers fresh, modern French cuisine, accompanied by a wide selection of fine wines. The soft colours, the rich textures and the overall ambience make this venue a perfect place for an elegant, yet relaxed wedding.
